The Oil & Gas investment portfolio (which will include investments in Chemicals), consists of largely passive investments to which we holds respective director representations in order to add further value and guidance from a governance and strategic growth perspective. Mining Resources Business Mining Resources ("SIDECO") invests in mining assets and mining services and supplies across Africa. Although the newest division, SIDECO is regarded as a potentially significant contributor to the future capital growth of the Group portfolio in the medium to long term. Solar Power & Water Business With mounting global pressure on traditional energy sources and infrastructure, DGA identified renewable energy, power and related infrastructure as significant economic growth nodes in the medium to long term within the Africa region which has typically relied on thermal power generation in the past. SIDECO has already positioned itself as a recognized player in the African renewables sector by forging long term relationships through joint ventures and equity partnerships to actively invest in sustainable projects. .
